Classic Colonial Whole-House Remodel

Hofmann Design Build carried a full renovation through this classic colonial in Chatham, touching the kitchen, the two-story stair hall, and nearly every bath in the house. In the kitchen, soft blue cabinetry and a carved hood surround are balanced against warm greige perimeter cabinetry, a broad granite island, and an apron-front sink set beneath a bay window. The stair hall was rebuilt with an oak handrail and wrought-iron balusters beneath a crystal chandelier, while a built-in mudroom drop zone with bench, hooks, and full-height storage now handles the family’s daily comings and goings. Upstairs, the team renovated the primary bath with a double vanity and adjoining walk-in closet, along with a series of secondary baths. Outside, a deep covered porch and a circular cobblestone motor court complete the transformation.
